MGT202 Organisational Behaviour
Unit Description
This unit introduces human behaviour within organisations at the individual, group and organisational levels. This unit examines aspects of the social and behavioural sciences that are relevant to understanding human behaviour in work organisations. The focus of the subject ranges from the behaviour and activities of individuals and groups in organisational settings such as leadership, teamwork, motivation, change, power and learning, to understanding organisations as a whole. Strategies will be explored which may be adopted to enhance personal and organisational effectiveness.
This unit examines the processes and structures at the individual, group, and system level which influence organisational behaviour. The aim is to develop an ability to analyse and evaluate the behaviour of people in organisations.
