FIN302 International Business Finance
Unit Description
This unit introduces the theoretical and practical knowledge for financial management functions of organisations operating in more than one country. It encompasses the theory and practice of international capital and foreign exchange markets. This unit covers international diversification, foreign direct investment decisions, cost of capital for multinational corporations, financial and political risks, the role of multinational banks, international currencies and bonds, short-term financing, and international equity markets.
This unit will provide participants with the ability to identify the major issues associated with the globalisation of financial markets and to understand the functions of the international financial and banking systems.
